Reservation and Rental Information

The following information is provided to help ensure that you enjoy your stay at Lindifferon Court Cottages:

RENTAL PERIODS

· Weekly bookings: Saturday to Saturday
· Short-stay breaks: Normally 3 days from Friday
· 4 days from Mondays

ARRIVALS & DEPARTURES
Your reservation will be from 16.00 on the day of arrival until 10.00 on the day of departure. Please let us know when you will be arriving, so that we can be on hand to welcome you.

BOOKING
A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to confirm your reservation and the balance should be paid six weeks prior to the arrival date. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Maestro credit/debit card payments and also personal cheques made payable to Lindifferon Development and Letting
The hirer is deemed to be the person who takes responsibility for the property during the rental period. The Cottages are only to be used for holiday purposes and are not to be sub-let. Bookings by persons under 16 years will not be accepted.
No more than the originally stated number of guests may stay at the property, unless agreed by prior arrangement with the owners. The owners reserve the right to refuse admission to any person who, in the opinion of the owners, is not suitable to take charge of the property or who causes a disturbance or nuisance.

CANCELLATION OF BOOKING
In the event of cancellation, the hirer will forfeit his/her deposit. If it is not possible to re-let the property, the full fee will be payable. As this is a legal contract it is advisable that you insure against possible cancellation.
Hirers are encouraged to take holiday insurance to cover themselves against liability to the owner for the full rental charge.
Notice of cancellation should be made immediately by telephone and then confirmed in writing.
In the event that we have to cancel your booking for reasons beyond our control, all payments that have been made by the hirer will be reimbursed and he/she will have no further claim against the owners.

  

CONDITIONS OF HIRE

The property must be left in a clean and tidy state at the end of the rental period. Failure to meet this condition may result in an additional charge being made. The hirer must report any broken or damaged items and it is understood that the hirer will replace the item(s) or pay for a replacement. Fair wear and tear is accepted. Any items missing from the inventory at the end of the rental period must be replaced or paid for by the hirer.
A refundable deposit of £100.00 is required with the final payment to cover any damaged or missing items.
The hirer shall allow access to the property by the owners at any reasonable time and for any reasonable purpose.
 No fires are to be lit in any part of the grounds and no caravans may be parked on the grounds.
Smoking is not allowed in the property.
No liability is accepted by the owners for loss or damage to guests' belongings, baggage, and vehicles etc, howsoever caused or for any accident or mishap to guests while on the premises.

PETS
One well-behaved dog is welcome by prior arrangement with the owners at an additional cost of £20.00 per rental period. Pets are not allowed to be left unattended in the cottages at any time, go into bedrooms or lie on furniture. Please bring all necessary bedding, towels etc for your pet. Any damage or extra cleaning involved will be chargeable. Fouling on the grounds must be cleaned up immediately.
*The "Owners" of Lindifferon Court Cottages are Tom & Margaret Nesbitt
The "Hirer" is that person who makes the reservation and confirms the booking
